Yes. No account, no email address, no card. A paid tier may come later for extra places and extra speed, but nothing that is free today gets taken away when it does.
Do you keep a record of what I do?
Not what you browse, no. Our servers record errors and uptime, not the sites you visit. Connecting does mean the server holds the address it assigned your phone, because otherwise nothing could find its way back to you. That record isn’t tied to a name, because we never ask for one.
Will it slow my phone down?
Barely, most of the time. On networks that actively block VPNs the app takes a slower route rather than failing, so you may notice it there. That trade is deliberate: connected and a bit slower beats not connected.
Which phones does it work on?
